We accept application forms for children when they are over the age of 18 months. We accept applications at any time of the year, and if space is not available, you will be added to a waiting list. Foundry Lane Preschool are a data controller for the purposes of Data Protection. We collect information from you and may receive information about you from your previous Early Years Provider or education provider, local authorities and the Department for Education (DfE).

Terms and conditions
Once your child is offered a place and you accept it, we will require further information for our records. Your child’s birth certificate is required at this point with a copy made for our file. If you find that you no longer need the place, please inform us as soon as possible.
Further information
All children are eligible for 15 hours funded pre-school sessions from the term after their 3rd birthday. We may not be able to offer your child the full 15 hours at Foundry Lane Preschool. The number of sessions allocated to each child depends on age and availability. (Please see our Admissions Policy for more details). You are entitled to seek the remaining funded sessions elsewhere if you wish.
Please see below for details of when your child can receive funded sessions from. We have one morning and one afternoon session each day from Monday to Friday and when allocating sessions we do aim to offer your child the most convenient sessions to you.
Please note that due to the high demand for places at Foundry Lane Preschool, we cannot guarantee your child a place. As such we would strongly recommend that you also apply elsewhere.
A place at Foundry Lane Preschool does not automatically entitle your child a place at Foundry Lane Primary School as we are a separate charity and the Local Education Authority deals with school places.
If we contact you with an offer of a place for your child, we will require a copy of your child’s birth certificate.

Please note however that although your child may be eligible for free sessions there is no guarantee that sessions will be available at these times.

If there are spaces available, we do accept children from the age of 2 years but you will have to pay for these sessions until the term after your child’s 3rd birthday as set out above. You would normally be informed of the cost of these sessions when your child was offered a place.
